Notes: With the allocation of grapes from Albert and Frédéric Hertz, a well known Domaine in Alsace known for their early adoption of organic and biodynamic vineyard practices starting in 1983(!), we could not miss the opportunity to macerate the Gewürztraminer variety. Some will love it. Others will may find it “out of context” … In short, you will find all the features of a Gewürztraminer maceration. But, we have also succeeded in getting the fresh finish in the mouth that Yves and I had as our ultimate goal.
