Notes: One of the pioneers of organic farming in Savoie, The farm originates from a former order of Carthusian monks. When the church and state seperated Claude Quenard, the monks vigneron, purchased the farm. Three generations later they are known for their polyculture practices as well as their considerate enviromental approach ie installing a system of recuperation and treatment of their wastewater for recycling and to reuse in various purposes througout their estate. This certified organic (since 2000) and certified biodynamic Demeter (since 2016) is managed by Guy and André (sons of Claude). Today, the new generation, Vincent, Guy’s son, is arriving at the estate and has already put his personal touch to it with the launch of a craft brewery activity, also in organic form.
