🍇 Syrah and Grenache
Region: Ardeche, Rhone, France (Vin de France)
Farming/Vinification: Organic with Biodynamic practices. Calek arrived in France from Boheme over 20 years ago. Studied viticulture and oenologie in Beaune and Lyon, and started working helping a number of domaines converting to natural wines, accompanying them in the process as advisor. Toyed with Biodynamics, helping translate Joly to Czech and converting Domaine Hauvette to biodynamic culture.
Notes: Light-bodied with medium tannins, deep spice and earth notes complimented with youthfulness and bright acidity. This is a wine that would pair well with pizza, fries, and duck. Unfined, unfiltered without added sulphites.
