🍇 50% Cabernet Franc, 50% Grolleau
Region: Loire, France
Farming/Vinification: Since Bruno Rochard inherited the family winery, Domaine de Mirebeau, in 1998, lying a few kilometres from the legendary village of Anjou in the Loire Valley, he has put everything into looking after nature, restoring the balance of the soils, and creating wines that exude joy. Using organic and biodynamic farming practices to produce grapes that is full of energy. In the winery, no additives are used and the wine is made using the ancient method. This begins with a spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts and when the must is still developing, it is bottled unfiltered and without adding any sugar to finish fermenting and develop the bubbles.
Notes: Fruity sparkling wine with delicious aromas of red fruit, citrus notes and mineral hints. On the palate it is light, pure and refreshing. A wine full of energy with vibrant acidity, a lively and fruity mid-palate and a lingering finish.
