Farming/Vinification: Seven hundred meters above the alpine city of Trento, you will find Matteo Furlani tending to his family’s vines. Chemicals were never a part of the family’s vineyard management, yet Matteo took this philosophy even further when incorporating Biodynamics into these vines high up in the Dolomites.
Notes: Cantina Furlani wines infused with blood orange, rhubarb, wormwood and gentian and a whole slew of Alpine herbs. Beautifully textured and delightfully light with a wild freshness. It’s a grown-up beverage full of familiar flavors: A&W root beer candies, salted caramel, yeasty cinnamon rolls, with a subtly spicy, smooth wintergreen finish.
