Notes: This California grown wine is made on style of the Rhone. An intense wine that leaps from the glass. Blocky spices, not quite as lithe as black pepper but more allspice. Intensely stemmy in the palate, with lots of green spice. Intense dark red fruit. Long finish that becomes obvious on green stems. Fully whole-cluster and aged in large French Puncheons for six months. Decant and serve at 55 ° F.
