Notes: This bright, floral Gamay displays forward red fruit notes of wild strawberries and cherries. Its strong minerality and acidity are a testament to the 20-80 year old vines from which it is sourced, which are planted in the clay-limestone soil of the Cher valley in Touraine, Loire. The grapes are harvested and destemmed manually, then vinified in stainless steel and fiberglass tanks. Aged in vat and bottle, the wine is bottled without fining or filtering and only a small addition of sulfur.
