Sake Class

Join us for a night of Sake with sake specialist Midori Roth.

Midori is an industry veteran and advocate of sake with 17 years of experience working for various importer and distributor as national sake sales manager at Winebow, sake specialist at Stacole Fine Wines, and currently as Japanese beverage specialist at Breakthru Beverage Florida.   She worked in high-end restaurants as a sake sommelier for Sushi Samba and was part of an opening team of Zuma. Midori’s unique and wide-ranging skill set has enabled her to successfully contribute in a variety of roles, including writing menus for several key accounts across Florida, consulting for Celebrity Cruise, conducting countless educational seminars, elevating sake knowledge by becoming WSET Sake instructor of level 1 and 3.  Her in depth knowledge is trusted by the industry and has earned her recognition “go to” resource for all things sake and other Japanese beverages.  

This class will include a tasting of 5 sake selections with an overview of each brewer in addition to a 101 on the sake brewing process.
